Currently offered Percentage Based Noiseless charts(Point and Figure Charts & Renko) in Tradingview
• is calculated LTP &
• thus whole chart is repainted Everytime (when LTP gets changed, thus Makes Current Charts, thus making it,similar to ATR Charts)
INSTEAD of being calculated on Initial price & later on increments at close on each Time Frame.
When I posted issues w.r.t Percentage Noiseless Charts(Point & Figure and Renko) to Tradingview support, they suggested me to post on Tradingview(reddit) and priority developments are taken based on Votes (Up mark) .
I Request those on Reddit, to kindly click on up mark, to caste your Vote in Favour of Request.
Linking to an external forum (considered bad practice almost universally) and exhorting users here to vote a certain way is not cool and adds no value to this forum here
You have not illustrated the issue. Screenshots/gifs/video illustrating the issue would help your case. Like what’s wrong with repainting etc… Efforts made in post itself rather than in marketing may help. If you do make the changes, make a new reddit post. Being a helpful long term community member rather than a one-off feature request post also helps. While you can do certain things to make users empathy with your cause, ultimately, it’s upto other users who think whether it’ll be useful.
