Hello,
I have created grouped stock watchlists in the Kite Web platform. Could you please confirm if these watchlist groupings can also be viewed or preserved in the Kite mobile app? If not, is there a workaround or any upcoming feature planned for this?
Thank you.

Yes, agreed these features would be really helpful. Currently, only the grouping isn’t syncing on Kite app, while the scrips are syncing properly. So it’s fine for now, but having this feature would definitely be a good to have thing.

@Arockiya_Raja Hey Raja, could you please take a look at this request and let the team know about it … TIA
New MarketWatch features are currently being developed for the app. After its release, MarketWatch groups will sync seamlessly between web and app.

when can we expect in mobile?
It should take a couple of weeks for this to be ready.

Hey @Arockiya_Raja could you please prioritize the users feedback that works in “no sync” like the above please
Obviously, whatever is released on the web will also be made available on the app. It’s a high priority, and it’s already under development. The delay is mainly to make the experience more convenient on mobile screens. Should be ready in the next few weeks, thanks for your patience.

Good to hear that … Thanks a lot
Hey @Arockiya_Raja, sorry just observed that the current web watchlist with groups doesn’t allow to add a single name to multiple groups
Lets say I make a Buyable watchlist and have grouped Priority and then same with their sectors and I want to have it in both, this makes sense to allow the same name in multiple when grouped
Please think of this scenario when you sync the changes from web to app … I know this edge case fails due to current scenario where it adds duplicates on app when the list has groups with duplicates, but ideally it should be allowed !!
Thanks
It’s been over a month but still group watchlists are not available on the app. How long will it be delayed?
We understand the use case, but adding the same instrument to multiple groups within a MarketWatch is not supported at this time. Additionally, allowing this could lead to the same instrument being added multiple times unintentionally, which would increase the watchlist size.
We acknowledge the delay. We are working on this as we speak. Since the app’s architecture differs from the web, implementing groups required a different technical approach. Nevertheless, we are working to make it available soon.

Zerodha brings very less new features and too late compared to its peers but even these are not available across all the platforms. When will Zerodha compete with others in this race?

It’s been over a month now but the group watchlists are still not available in the kite app.
We are continuously working on this to make this available at the earliest. This will be made available in a few weeks.
Its quite delayed already now. Kindly bring it asap.
