Things to watch out for in the coming week;

Adani Enterprises follow-on public offering opens for subscription on 27th January and will close on 31st January, the company will be issuing fresh shares worth Rs. 20,000 crores on a partly paid basis and has set price band at Rs. 3112 to 3276 with 50% amount payable on application and remaining amount whenever company make a call. As the first company to export $1 billion in smartphones from India in a single month, Apple created history by exporting iPhones worth Rs 8,100 crore in December 2022, taking the total handset export to Rs 10,000 crore.

Vistara, a joint venture of Tata Sons and Singapore Airlines, has reported that it has exceeded the $1 billion revenue mark and has maintained positive EBITDA in the current fiscal year, gaining a market share of 9.2% according to DGCA data.

EaseMyTrip announced that it would start opening offline retail outlets in India using a franchising model. The online travel tech firm will “allow the customers to have an in-store retail experience” through EaseMyTrip Franchise.

Sterlite Power reported that during the first three quarters of FY23, the solutions business unit received orders worth Rs 3,800 crore in local and international markets, a rise of 90% year over year.

The monthly output of electronic permits reached a new high in December, suggesting that GST collection will be strong in January. Monthly e-way bills generated increased to 84.1 million in December, above the 84 million permits raised in September: GSTN data.

The government may infuse Rs 4,000-5000 crore into three loss-making general insurers. The capital outlay would be included in the budget for this year, and parliamentary approval is expected through the last supplementary grant demand for 2022-2023.

As the first e-commerce company in the country with a dedicated air cargo network, Amazon India has now started Amazon Air. For the service, the business has partnered with Bengaluru-based Quickjet Cargo Airline Private Ltd.

Smartphone shipments fell 9% YoY to reach 152 million units in 2022 owing to weaker demand in the entry-level segment while the premium segment continued to expand and gain market share as retail average selling prices rose: Counterpoint Research report.

Reliance Jio added the most subscribers in November 2022, with 14.26 lakh, followed by Bharti Airtel’s 10.56 lakh increase and Vodafone Idea’s 18.27 lakh subscriber loss.

Tata Motors announced a price hike of its internal combustion engine-powered passenger vehicle range by 1.2% on a weighted average basis starting February 1 in order to absorb a large amount of the increased costs due to regulatory changes and a rise in total input costs.
