Adani Green Energy Ltd (AGEL) announced on September 9 that it has fully redeemed its USD 750 million Holdco Notes, originally set to mature on September 8, 2024.

Suzlon has secured India’s largest wind energy order of 1,166 MW from NTPC Green Energy Ltd, to install 370 wind turbine generators across projects in Gujarat, according to a company statement.

BlackRock Advisors Singapore Pte. Ltd. and Jio Financial Services have formed a joint venture, Jio BlackRock Investment Advisers Private Limited, to conduct investment advisory business in India, according to a BSE filing.

GMR Airports Infrastructure Limited (GIL) has signed a $126 million deal to acquire Fraport AG’s 10% stake in Delhi International Airport Limited (DIAL), increasing GIL’s holdings in DIAL from 64% to 74%.

Jindal Stainless supplied the high-strength tempered stainless steel for Vande Bharat train’s sleeper coaches, recently unveiled by Minister of Railways Ashwini Vaishnaw, according to a PTI report.

TP Solar Ltd., a subsidiary of Tata Power Renewable Energy, has begun solar cell production at India’s largest single-location facility in Tirunelveli, Tamil Nadu, boosting domestic manufacturing of cells and modules.

Infosys and Proximus Group announced a strategic collaboration to leverage Proximus affiliates’ products and Infosys digital services, focusing on innovation in customer engagement and enhancing digital security.

The Reserve Bank of India has rejected Canara Bank’s proposal to establish a credit card subsidiary, hindering the bank’s plan to boost its card business through a non-banking financial service licence.

Dixon Technologies has signed an initial pact with HP India to manufacture laptops, desktops, and PCs through its subsidiary Padget Electronics under the production-linked incentive scheme. This marks Dixon’s third global PC brand partnership, with a fourth expected soon.

ITI Limited, India’s first PSU post-independence, has secured a Rs 300 crore order from the Bihar Renewable Energy Development Authority (BREDA) to supply and install 1,00,000 solar street light systems, adding to the 80,000 systems it is already executing in the state.

Reliance has formed a 50:50 joint venture with Israeli firm Delta Galil to design and manufacture innerwear in India, directly competing with Page Industries. The JV will also introduce Delta’s global brands, including Calvin Klein and Tommy Hilfiger, to the Indian market.

Maruti Suzuki India plans to export high-specification electric vehicles with a 500 km range, powered by a 60 kWh battery, to markets in Europe and Japan. The company also aims to develop biofuel and hydrogen models to combat carbon emissions and boost exports by 2030.

Coal India Ltd. plans to invest approximately ₹670 billion ($8 billion) to build coal-fired power plants near its mines, with 4.7 gigawatts already approved and another 2 gigawatts under discussion, primarily in Odisha, according to Business Development Director Debasish Nanda.

BCPL Railway Infrastructure Ltd. secured a Rs 71 crore order from Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd. to upgrade the electric traction system in the Kharagpur-Bhadrak section of the South Eastern Railway, according to an exchange filing.

The CCI (Competition Commission of India) approved Dixon Technologies’ proposal to acquire a stake in Aditya Infotech Ltd. Dixon Technologies, a provider of Electronic Manufacturing Services (EMS), is expanding its involvement with Aditya Infotech Ltd.

JSW Infrastructure Ltd. dismissed reports of plans to raise Rs 5,000 crore via a qualified institutional placement, confirming in an exchange filing that no such discussions are currently taking place and no proposal has been presented to the board.

NBCC shares surged nearly 5% to Rs 183.70 on the BSE after announcing a Rs 1,600 crore deal with MTNL. The project involves developing a 13.88-acre land parcel in New Delhi into residential and commercial space.

Adani Ports signed a concession agreement with Deendayal Port Authority to operate a 5.7 million tonne multipurpose terminal at Kandla Port, Gujarat. The terminal will handle clean cargo, including containers.

Tata Steel secured a £500 million grant from the UK government for its £1.25 billion green steel project in Port Talbot. The new electric arc furnace will cut the UK’s industrial carbon emissions by 8% and Port Talbot’s by 90%.

Prestige Estates Projects will use the Rs 5,000 crore raised through QIP to reduce debt and acquire assets for nationwide expansion. Rs 1,500 crore will be allocated for debt reduction and Rs 1,750 crore for land acquisition.

Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) received orders totaling ₹1,155 crore, including ₹850 crore from Cochin Shipyard for X-Band radar and ₹305 crore for navigational systems and other equipment.
