Weekly trading diary : January 2018, Week 1 : 01 Jan - 05 Jan

@billyjango what I see is you executed Each and every order one by one.

First you placed order and made Loss.
To recover this Loss again you placed second order.
This goes continues…

If I am wrong let me know.

Hehe. Don’t have the patience to use the brokerage calculator. Will wait for the contract notes to arrive tonight. But yes, it’ll be worse as you rightly pointed.

True. I take about 3 to 5 trades a day with maximum loss per day kept at INR300. Today my first 3 trades went bad. Should have stopped, but emotions got the better of me.

i made an excel file here, https://drive.google.com/open?id=1PfUN9nWTzcTFURxVOPYXQlismGiIQl1C
use this to calculate total brokerage and value of trade
just download executed orders and paste as it is

No !!

What I meant to say was that after adding taxes , the loss would just double.

Bad day For me also

Did mistake in tatamotor dvr by early exit my cash position…

You are in love with Aluminum. Great!
Tata motors offered good opportunity today but yes many traders got stuck in TVS at upper levels & stock declined considerably.

At times this TVS stock would behave like infibeam but today it reacted as if nothing happened!

Is there a way to convert Bracket order to normal order? I have enough margin left, but there is no option to change order type

Yes you can

BO or CO can’t be converted. if you want to convert later order in MIS

I’ll exit BO at a loss and then buy in NRML. Thanks!

No, You can’t Convert BO/CO into NRML Order.

Only MIS orders can be converted into NRML.

Thank you. Checked the details, you can do MIS to NRML and vice versa but not with BO and CO.
