I came to know that DP charges are Rs. 14. Suppose a company stock price is Rs. 50, and i buy 20 shares, so total price is : Rs. 1000/-. Now, after few days, the stock price becomes Rs. 45, and i decide to sell 10 shares from my holdings. So the DP charges would be 10 x 14 = 140 ?? Is this calculation correct ?? Please reply.
DP charges is per debit at the end of the day. So irrespective of how many shares you sell of a stock per day, you pay only flat Rs 14. In the example you have given it is not 10x14, but just Rs 14.
