I am a beginner swing trader and I started trading EOD charts of NIFTY 50 stocks a few weeks before. Most of my knowledge comes from the first 2 modules “Introduction to stock markets” and “Technical Analysis” given in Zerodha Varsity.
As a follow up to this, I wanted to learn about Quantitative Analysis methods since I am a Math major and I want to make the best use of it.
Could you suggest some good online resources for learning QA, preferably the ones which focus more on learning the financial aspect assuming the math background needed ?
For most traders, understanding price, volume, FnO data (OI, greeks), and FII data is sufficient. Any time you’re dealing with hard mathematical data that doesn’t require subjective interpretation like lines on a chart you’re dealing with quantitative data and its analysis.
Does this include resources on how can I use statistics and probability to backtest my strategies and so on ? I was looking for something along those lines, most of the options available are for F&O.
Basically I want to improve my swing trading using QA concepts. I am not sure I’m phrasing it accurately, apologies for the confusion
