Is 6k loss in Intraday too much or manageable inorder to shut off the system for the day?

Depends on what is your total capital deployed pct wise

I believe since the maximum upper/lower circuit limit is 20%, the maximum loss as a percentage cannot go beyond 20% of the capital ( trade value)

This is probably the reason why brokers require a minimum upfront margin of 20% for MIS in equity, because both gains and losses are capped at 20% of the trade value for that day.
