What does Buy and Sell quantity on NSE website tell you?

After the market is closed, you can see buy and sell quantity on the www1.nseindia.com or BSE website.
What does that mean? Are AMO orders displayed here?nse

e.g. For Ashok Leyland stock, it shows sell quantity as 16749 @ 50.40. What does this mean?

No, those aren’t AMO. Those are pending Orders, which will probably get cancelled.
