Suppose I execute a Live strategy.
- After the first leg of the transaction, is it possible to stop the Live deployment?
- If Yes, then will I be able to close the trade in Zerodha directly?
Suppose I execute a Live strategy.
Most algo providers offer an option to stop or halt a live deployment even after the first leg of the strategy has been executed. However, the exact behavior can vary from provider to provider, so it’s always advisable to confirm this with your specific algo provider.
If you are running your own strategy using the broker’s API, you can stop the program at any time, which effectively stops further execution of the strategy.
Regardless of whether the order was placed via an algo provider or directly through the broker’s API, you can always close or square off the trade manually using Kite web or mobile app.
Thanks for the response. My question was regarding Zerodha Streak and my Trading account is in Zerodha.
Hi @beherat
Yes, you can stop the Live deployment after the first leg of the transaction is executed. Once stopped, you can also manually close the open trade directly from your broker.
Thanks. I got my answer.
