Can some one guide me regarding this.
There are the limits on a stock movement in a given trading day. F&O stocks don’t have any price bands or commonly known as circuit limits but EQ stocks have a circuit limit of 20% and trade to trade category stocks have a limit of 5%.
In BSE S+ framework stocks have periodic circuits of 2%.

circuit is mechanism that curb the excess volatility or movement in stock . it is the daily price range of stock that is applicable for intraday only There are mainly two types of circuit
Upper circuit means (Bullish maximum value limit )the maximum price limit at which share r stock price may move for intraday
Lower circuit : means (Bearish minimum value limit) the minimum pric limit at which share price can move negative for intraday.
Circuit limit are as follow
20%
10%
5%
When any stock continuous break the above limit its circuit limit is decreased in sequence of 20% to 10% to 5%
And again again if any share break the circuit limit of 5% it transfer to T Group .
T group share are those share which are traded on trade to trade basis, in which short sell is not allowed.
Whenever the circuit limit hit buy any scrip or share in that condition any trader can not place buying and selling order until the share price doesn’t come below to circuit range.
Circuit Condition
Circuit is not applicable on those share whose derivative is available
and the stock which are listed on today also circuit is not applicable.

The market is volatile and it takes a new step every hour, due to this stock value in the market is changing continuously.
