What is the clearing membership with exchange. Is Zerodha is Trading Member or Self Clearing Member. I’m confused…

A Clearing Member has the responsibility of clearing and settling all deals executed by Trading Members on any exchange (NSE), who clear and settle such deals through them. All trading members are self-clearing members for equity. Zerodha is a self-clearing member for equity and clears its F&O trades through IL&FS who is a Professional clearing member.
