Hi,
I have for example Put Option of Axisbank March500 PE. It is mentioned that the option expires on the 28th of March. But 28 th falls on Wednesday.
It is said: In case of Indian stock exchanges, the expiry date is the last working Thursday of the month when the contract expires.
Then what day should I consider: 28th (Wednesday) or the 29 (Thursday) of March as the Expiry?
Please clear my doubt.

It’s usually mentioned on the srip itself. Just click on market depth and see the expiry date at the bottom.
Rule is expiry date for monthly options is last Thursday of month. If it’s holiday then whichever is the previous working day will be the expiry day for that month…
