What is the last date for buying M&M shares for 1:1 bonus
19-12-2017 is the date u have to buy so that u will get shares in t+2 days then u will be eligible to get bonus shares

21 Dec 2017 is the ex-bonus date for the M&M bonus issue and 22 Dec is the record date. For you to be eligible for the bonus, the shares have to be present in your Demat account on 22 Dec which is the record date. Since it takes T+2 days for the shares to be credited to Demat, you can buy shares on 20 Dec or any day before that and you will be eligible for the bonus.
Please note that shares bought on the ex-date(21 Dec) will not be eligible for bonus as these shares will reach your Demat only after the record date.
