I just saw the Zerodha brokerage calculator extension on the chrome store along with that of Kite and Pulse, how do these extensions work?
The brokerage calculator is one of the most popular utilities used by our clients. We have added this as a Chrome extension. Check this post on how you can install and use the Kite and Pulse extensions and access trading + market news immaterial of the website you’re browsing.
Visit the chrome store, search for ‘zerodha brokerage calculator’ and select ‘add to chrome’.
Note: This extension is for Google Chrome only.
Then select ‘add extension’.
Once added, it will show up along with all your other extensions. So when you are on Kite and want to quickly calculate the trading costs for a trade, use the brokerage calculator extension and calculate it in a jiffy.
Similarly, if you are on another website and want to place an order or check your holdings/positions quickly, you can use the Kite extension.
Why not have such features be extended to Pi Users also? Currently, Pi is getting step-motherly treatment, compared to KITE.
Hopefully, you’ll close the disparity soon.
Cheers
It would be awesome if the brokerage calculator includes the stamp duty as well.
