What one should do to HEDGE against INDEX funds?

I’m starting a sip in INDEX FUND,
& before i take position i want to know how to hedge it if it doesn’t go as expected?

Protection of ETF (Niftybees) by Put option

I have Niftybees (ETF) in my account and want to protect the downside fall by Buying the put option ; do we have any yearly based put option or PUT ETF in the NSE ? Regards
