My question is, what triggers the upper band (in the above case) to update itself? Is it updated for every tick or is it updated only when the LTP breaches certain price?
To me it appears to get updated only when the LTP breaches certain price, however I’m completely not sure of it.
True. But reverts back if breach is breached again till candle closes as per time frame.

That breach value is the supertrend value. It depends on what K and ATR values you select and lookback candles in your settings. I am not sure exact details on this. Z Tech team may clarify further.
