When a company IPO comes, how much time do we get to read and understand it?

A company files it’s DRHP (Draft Red Herring Prospectus) much before the IPO. You can access it on the SEBI website.

Once company gets approval from SEBI for IPO, they file RHP (Red Herring Prospectus), which can be accessed here.
