When are "Candlestick Patterns" updated on the platform?

Hello Team,

When are the “Candlestick Patterns” (in chart studies) usually updated on the platform?
I was looking at the NIFTY100 stocks over the weekend and the patterns were not updated for Friday’s candles until late Sunday night.
Please let me know.

The Candlestick Patterns are calculated based on the candle data on the chart. For daily charts, the candle is based on the exchange’s BHAVCOPY data, which is received after the trading session and includes the complete day’s transactions.
So the Friday candle/pattern may not be reflected immediately after market hours and can take some time to update once the EOD data is processed.

I want to trade using the patterns and want to reconfirm pattern formation using the chart study(“Candlestick Patterns”) provided by Zerodha. But my observation is that they are shown quite late (at least not before 7am the next day).

  1. Exactly when are the patterns shown in the charts?
  2. If it is as late as 7-9am the next day, could you please consider showing them earlier? Would be great if they are available after the scheduled chart maintenance window(12:00 AM and 12:15 AM).
