I have bought SGBMR29XII-GB (already shown in Zerodha approved list) yesterday i.e. 18-Jun-21. It is showing in Console > Holdings. However pledge option is not shown.
Any ideas when will I be able to pledge?

ours is a t+2 settlement cycle. it might be that they might have not yet reflected in your demat account. once they are in your demat account, you can pledge them
You’ll be able to pledge after the SGB is credited to your Demat account. It takes T+2 working days for shares to get credited to your Demat account, more on how settlement works here.
A related question, will an sgb issued say in june will be allowed to be pledged in july ? i.e is what is time for it to be accepted ?

The one which was issued in May was made available from July 01.

@ msangani Plegde can only be done once the SGB is reflected in your trading or demat account. It takes about 48 hours after trade to settle the same in your account after which you can pledge.
