When i try to place an order in NFO i'm getting the error "16278 : The markets have not been opened for trading" why is this?

16278 : The markets have not been opened for trading

The market timing for Nifty Futures & Options is 9:15am to 3:30pm.If a user places NFO orders before 9:15 am the order will get rejected & the above error will be displayed.
