Hey @chacha ,
ITR filing for AY 2025-26 is not yet enabled by Income Tax Department.
We are awaiting for the utilities, post which filing on we will be enable the filing for our customers.
Thank you.
Any guesstimate based on past dates history when will that happen or is it totally up to govt
and changes every year ?
Hello @chacha
Every year, Income tax department releases the ITR utilities for ITR 1 and 4 by first week of April and ITR 2 and 3 by end of April.
This year, there are many changes related to Capital Gains to be reported in ITR (for example: sale before 23rd July and after to be reported separately) and thus it might be getting late.
Lets hope they enable it soon, so we can make the necessary changes and make it live for our customers.
Thank you.
as always much appreciated for prompt reply & details.
Not before 15 June for sure.
Hello Folks,
ITD has not enabled access for ERIs. We will be live as soon as access is granted. It may take a week or two. ITD has also extended the due date to file ITR from July 31 to September 15 in the light of delay.
Thank you.
@Quicko but as I have checked, ERI access has been granted for a leading competitor (in tax filing). Is this specific to Quicko?
We are working with ERI help desk to enable access as soon as possible. Please stay tuned, we will be live shortly.
Hello @Manoj_Pa
Income tax department have enabled ITR 1 and 4 filing for now. Our team is working on the recent changes applicable for AY 2025-26 and you will be able to file the same on Quicko by end of next week.
For Investor or trader, ITR 2 or 3 is applicable and the forms for same are not yet enabled by Income tax department. We are expecting them to release the forms by July 1st week.
In the light of the delay, the Income tax department has also extended the due date to September 15 instead of July 31st.
Appreciate your patience in the meantime.
Thank you.
