When you are launching the trailing stop loss feature?

@nithin

When you are launching the trailing stop loss feature?

I am using Zerodha from almost 6 years and I do trade with a very good capital but I think Zerodha i missing lot of fundamental features like trailing stoploss that are needed by almost everyone.

Your competitive platform do support such type of features.

I request such feature with Zerodha several times but didn’t get any right response other than we are forwarding your request to our development team.

Sometime I feel to switch trading platform from Zerodha to other platform.

Please guide us how we can get the training stoploss feature?

Thanks

Hi, It is on our list of things to do. We are working on a few new features on MarketWatch and Option Chain, which are expected to release this month. We will start working on it after that.

You also said that after the new marketwatch and native option chain, Zerodha will also do a wide screen compatible Kite with bigger chart space. Is that happening? @Arockiya_Raja

Sorry, I’m still new to this but can’t you accomplish something similar by opening the chart in a new tab so it takes up the whole screen? If you have one of those really wide screens, a browser with tiling built-in like Vivaldi or Zen could put that space to better use :dizzy:

Sorry, but you’re new. I am not. I have been trading for 10+ years. Trendlines and multi-time charts are better deciphered on bigger charts. The bigger, the better. I use 2 ultrawide monitors already and Kite is insanely tiny on those even. Have you ever tried TradeOne mode of AngelOne? Try and come back and we’ll see if you still say the same. :slightly_smiling_face:

Could you share a screenshot of your setup on Kite and Angel One? I can’t find any difference comparing Kite to Sensibull, if anything Kite looks bigger without Sensibull’s top menubar.

I’m happy that you are happy, but not with the Kite terminal. It is now an outdated product. Happy trading!

P.S. - You have opened the maximized charts. I’m talking about the gaps alongside the watchlist and charts.

This is one of the core feature along with the trade from chart which is missing from Kite. I don’t understand how other small players are implementing such things so easily and quickly. Even some of those small players has made add ons top of Kite and through APIs to provide these features and they charge monthly/yearly fees for it. Even I am paying yearly fees for one such platform. This definitely indicates that Kite has fundamentals issues. Hoping to get these basic things done soon.

Could you point me to the relevant post? That would be very helpful.

Hi @Arockiya_Raja Not you, I mixed up with Siva. Btw, here is the post.

I still sincerely hope that the charts can be widened to occupy the whole screen. It makes life a lot lot more easier. I would appreciate if you would also take this up for the roadmap. Thanks!

Better to move out. They will take 5 years at least.

I have already shifted half to Fyers.

Hey, I thought trailing stoploss was considered as an algo by SEBI, per Nithin here:

Has that changed?

During our last review, we noticed that only a small percentage of users use screen resolutions that leave empty space on both sides. That said, we completely understand the need for traders to navigate between pages without closing the chart, as well as the preference to minimize the marketwatch for a larger chart view.

After we release the new marketwatch, we will work on this. We’ll explore optimizing the main page to address this feedback without impacting the current user experience or consider implementing it in the pop-out chart.

I am talking about trailing stop loss.

@siva has replied to it. We will prioritise it after the Marketwatch revamp and option chain release but cannot give an exact timeline now.
