I want to buy preference shares of companies such as BHEL, TATA, TCS etc. But preference shares of these companies are not listed on exchange, what is the procedure to buy preference shares.
I have enough money available with me.

To get a preferential allotment you have to have a rapport with the management. Alternately there are financial planning companies which liaison with unlisted companies to raise funding for them. In such cases as well you can get a preferential allotment.
