The account closure form has two fields for Client ID and Trading ID. I know what my client ID is but cannot find my Trading ID.
Trading ID: It is the same Kite login ID.
Client ID: It is the 16 digit number you can find in your console page. The First 8 digit is your Demat account ID and the remaining 8 digit is your client ID.
Isn’t the Client ID the login ID? That’s what it says on the “My Profile” page.
You are right. 6 digit code is the actual client ID. But, for account closure form this is how it is. The 6 digit ID is considered as the trading ID.
