I have an old trading account with Karvy where I continue to trade in equities on NSE on intraday/delivery basis little bit. However, ever since I opened this account in 2009 they have this bad habit of debiting hidden charges to me. They never tell me when they have a policy change. I get to know only when there is debit in my account. And when I ask them, they tell me that it was due to certain policy change. However, as I get accustomed to new policy, they will have another policy change and I will start seeing new charges. I have complained to them several times but they have nothing other than “Sorry”. Can some please tell me where can I complain about this issue.
Needless to say Zerodha rocks.
Thanks,
Nitin

Additionally, SEBI also provides an online interface to file a complaint: http://scores.gov.in/Complaint.aspx?flag=n

Thanks Nithin,
Ok, so I went to the URL, registered with them and did the following.
- Clicked on “Add Trading Member Complain”.
- Selected trading member as “Karvy Stock Broking Ltd”.
- Selected Client Code as xxxx (My client code).
- Selected segment as “CM”.
Now, I get following message. “The member is not present in CM segment, hence complaint cannot be registered”.
Any insights on this message?
Thanks,
Nitin
I guess that works only on IE8, are you using that browser or something else?
Ahh, I was using Chrome. Tried IE and it works now. Thanks very much!
