Where I see all company result with final verdict and how in market hours I catch the momentum quickly after result
I think if it is a decent company it will come on business channels first unless one has something like bloomberg terminal we retailers need to rely on cnbc tv18 or something. Also many times after results stock immediately may go up and then fall or vice versa, need to know what numbers street is expecting out of results, also need to check how a stock is positioned means before results only if it had big move either up or down, most of times stock reacts to guidance given by company, means what management is expecting in next few quarters to come.
So my point is just by seeing profit number after results a trade should not be initiated, it has a combination of factors to consider.
