Which broker has the lowest cost?

I’m trying to find the cheapest broker. I did some research and found the following:

  • Finvasia has the lowest price for everything except pledging/un-pledging (?)

  • The following brokers have lower pledging/un-pledging costs (but other costs may be higher):

    • Paytm Money, Edelweiss, 5paisa, Anand Rathi, TradeSmart, Fyers, Alice Blue, SAS Online, Aditya Birla Money
  • Market Wolf charges 10% on profits, no other charges (?)

  • iTradeOnline charges lower of 0.03% and 20 rupees per order

Depending on the trades, either of these could be the cheapest option. Ignoring pledging, is there any broker cheaper than Finvasia? And if pledging is included, which would be the most cost-effective broker?

Finvasia is the cheapest out there.

iTradeOnline is cheaper if the trading volume is low enough. They charge 0.03% or 20 rupees per order (whichever is lower)

That is still more than zero brokerage that Finvasia charges right ? This is the same charged by top discount brokers in the country.

Also iTradeOnline seems to have account opening fee, amc. No great trading platforms, no apis, no pledging. It is not even close to Finvasia.

IMO, cheap brokerage is just one of the (minimal) criteria or qualifications for selecting a broker. If someone selects a broker just for the reason that it is the cheapest, then they should be dumb.
