Have a trading plan and always trade that plan. Then one is likely to be a successful trader. There is no reward with out risk. But in market there are several instruments with which one can control the amount of risk one is taking. As long as that risk is manageable at one’s end, trading can be considered to be just as safe as anything else connected to stock market.

Maybe that is just me, but reading the book does not help you anywhere. All you need is paper trading (pen & piece of paper) and read the market’s price movement.
