Hello, i would like to know which timeframe should i use for intraday trade and for long term and for medium term as i am a new trader please help me out.
Its just a number, not a hard and fast rule to follow the below-
5 mins - intraday
60 mins - medium term (swing)
daily/weekly - long term
Its better to use 5 or 15 min charts for intraday… you can back test your strategy with these timeframes or whatever timeframe you want and stick to the one which suits your strategy for intra… thing to be noted here is, as you increase the time frame, no of trades generated by your system will reduce and if you use large timeframe, it may happen that there will be no trade generated by your system!! so i believe you should use d timeframe based on your system
5mins will be perfect.

I upped you, thats a different matter. Cheers!
Depending on the market volatility, you should go with 5 min, 15min. I take trades, to ride only for 0.5 or 1 point in stock fut with 2 lots. First thing before I take this trade is fix the SL. I would book loss once the SL hits and wait to re-enter again. I dont hold it after hitting my SL.
For this kind of trade, see stocks moving from negative to positive or positive to negative (atleast .75%to1% positive zone to negative zone or -0.75% to 1% negative zone to positive zone). You should enter immediately crossing the positive to negative zone or viceversa. Targets are 0.5% to 1%. Once u r in profit, your trailing SL should be your buying price.
It works out good for me. Though not making big profits, thiousand or couple is for sure. For this kind of trade 5 min or 15 min is good time frame.
P.S: Setting SL is important in this method of trade. Shorter time frame, shorter SL, longer time frame, little deep SL.
not 15 min?
