Why all stocks are not available for intraday MIS/CO/BO trade

Hi,

For MIS trades that will be squared of by EOD either my me or the Zerodha RMS, are all scripts allowed. If not, why and where to find that list.

For CO/BO also same question as above.

Not on all stocks leverages(margins) are available for intraday trading its because of various factors like volatility,market capitalization,Liquidity etc.

You can check this link https://zerodha.com/margin-calculator/Equity/ to find out the scripts which are available for trading with margins in intraday at Zerodha.

Hello Trader,

There is a category of Equity Stocks on which intraday trades are not allowed.

These are called T2T ( Trade 2 Trade) and BE (Book Entry) stocks.

On you PI Marketwatch you would find them under NSE > BE series

These stocks are basically penny stocks and are banned from intraday trades by the exchange to protect the interest of retail investors from market manipulators.

Thx. But I am ready to forego the margin benefit. Still I wont be allowed to trade on those stocks?

No you can trade on those stock if you have full margin.

Just now finished trade on Jubliant, NIITTech and NBCC under BO. None of these stocks are listed in the margin under BO. Yet I was allowed to trade.
So, the assumption that we can only trade intraday under BO for the stocks listed under https://zerodha.com/margin-calculator/BracketCover/ is wrong. There has to be a clean list somewhere else, which can tell me which is the correct list that I can trade in EQ for intraday under BO.
