What’s making all these foreign dignitaries come to India almost together. Are we gonna play an important role in shaping up the new world order which everyone is now talking about after the war?

US is urging India to cut-off all ties with Russia and that’s why its pressurising very much. Also the meeting didn’t go very well with US and he left with strong displeasure and a warning of a serious consequence. Whereas Russia wants to setup trade relationship with India as currently India being the biggest prospective oil importer for Russia (India imported 13mn barrels in 1 month compared to 16mn in last year) hence it can generate cash with the help of India.
Even though Russia is currently taking support from China, it knows very well that China will never hesitate to attack Russia once its weak, whereas India will never do so.
If India is supporting Russia, this comes as a huge shame on USA in the international market. So other small countries may think USA is not a boss anymore to whom everyone listens to.
Hence if India doesn’t follows US then Biden is planning for economic sanctions in India. I don’t know what are the consequence of this because some countries will criticize if US does so but still Biden can do anything.
Trump was always business friendly, he never disrupted striving country economy but Biden is exact opposite of that. He can do anything to establish the supermacy of US.
My guess is that the world is once again forming power blocs similar to what happened after WW2. Even though India inclined with the communist bloc, officially it had stayed neutral. Now, with a much larger economy and a nuclear power, having India in one of the blocs will be of great advantage.

It’s the weakening effect of petrodollars. Russia trading oil in rubles and saudi trading oil in yuan weakens petrol dollars further. We are all discussing bypassing the dollar which is why so many dignitaries are visiting India. This is the truth. Frankly US foreign policy is a joke at this time with Biden not doing much. Trump predicted all these. Are we headed to WW3 I don’t think so. Is a war china near future might happen , there is a possibility , we would need help of quad here. We need Russians keep economy afloat and quad to counter Chinese expansion.
The so called journalist in the video is a traitor. He wasn’t ready to accept Indian Air Force’s version of the events and rather singing to pakistan’s tunes after Abhinandan shot down Pakistani F-16.

Every country is on its own brother. Do you think if tomorrow China attacks Japan or South Korea, then Americans would come to their aid ? No way will they participate in a war against any nuclear power. So Quad or no Quad, no one will come to aid India as well in case China attacks.
The Ladhakh stand-off is China’s way of communicating to India to stay away from any Quad like organisations. China want to ensure India’s neutrality just like Russia wants Ukraine’s.
As India is a nuclear power so it will be extremely difficult for China to wage a war against India. All China can do is these stand offs here and there.

What i feel is this proves INDIA’s capability to become a superpower in coming years, that’s why all of them are flocking in . If i get a good deal on oil from a country why shouldn’t i take it ? …As far as US is concerned seriously we don’t care , see nothing can stop this country to get to the TOP…

I dont understand people’s obsession with becoming super power.
We should silently build our strength (economically, militarily, scientifically) and dont bother about rest of the world.
We dont want to become some power and send soliders occupying other countries, thats not what india stands for.
As long as other countries are terrified of attacking us (on all 3 areas i mentioned above) we should be good.
I think overpopulation is going to a big challenge, specially in a world which is moving towards automation. There are a lot of things which needs fixing before we can talk about superpower, getting to the top and all.
American says India is their best ally , If so and their intention is good , instead of Calling India a shaky partner in Quad group , American"s never supported India , instead troubling more and interfering India"s internal affairs, Russians never commented or interfered India"s internal affairs, but helped by providing weapons and supplied discounted Crude oil

The population has gone up 5 times since independence. Yes, the sky hasn’t fallen off but the standard of living hasn’t really improved much either.

90% of my family wealth was built in last 25 years.
Quality of medical care available has went up 5x times (interms medicines, hospitals count etc.,)
Quality of education and number of colleges also went up.
The politicians/babus of the past were so bad at their job and they just blamed it all on the population, the truth was they just suck at their job.
Once new age of IAS officers/Politicians started doing their job, thiings actually improved despite population doubling in last 30-40 years.

SWIFT payment mechanism matters heavily to the west. There is a buzz either India ,Russia & China may establish a alternate payment mechanism or BRICKS nation own payment mechanism may realize soon ,then just think the consequence . Two world’s highest populated country plus two VETO powered country offer a SWIFT alternative ,it will completely disrupt Western hegemony
Confused here. Swift is a payment mechanism which is universally accepted by all banks in the world. Now if India wish to start a separate payment mechanism with Russia, yes this can be done. This new payment system will only be a bilateral system between two countries. It will only be a competition to swift if other countries would join this new payment system. Why would any other country wish to join this new payment mechanism when this is not universally accepted by all countries in the world.
Countries joining will still need to manage two systems, SWIFT for doing the major international transactions and this new system which India is supposedly developing.
I can still understand if Russia is setting up this new system as they have been cornered, but do not understand why India need to develop this
