Why cannot we take more than 2501 qty for index options?

Hi,

System is not allowing to take more than 62 lots of Banknifty options(CE/PE) in one trade. Kindly let me the reason and also if possible is there any way I can buy any number of lots(exceeding 62 lots) in one single trade?

Check the latest quantity freeze set by exchanges on index derivatives. Exchanges don't allow single orders for more  than the quantity freeze limit set.
