Looking for clarity.
All I want when long /short is - invest a certain amount at a certain price.
Why do I need to manually calculate the quantity and key in the quantity to execute the order? Its a pain to divide the current price with the amount I want to invest. Then if i update the order , I have to recalculate it again
What is the limitation here ? Why this pain for the traders ?
You can place orders using either Quantity or Amount. If you enter an amount, it will automatically calculate the corresponding quantity of shares based on the market price, making it easier to place orders without manual calculations. For F&O contracts, you can switch between Quantity and Lots. As shown in the attached files available on both app & web.
