Why some people say that Nifty Future is better than option trading?
Is Nifty future is more profitable than Nifty options? You suggestions and experiences please.

One reason is there is no time decay. Secondly for the full margin futures allows stop loss market and target limit orders. Options allow only one order, that too SL-M not allowed. Backtesting is difficult on options. In trading view nifty index is available for long time.

Nifty cash is the best. If you’re long on Nifty, just hold tight and sit patiently—you’ll be in profit, no matter how long it takes. It’s a no-loss strategy. Buy a Nifty ETF and wait till you’re in profit.

Futures are more predictable (move similar to Spot) and do not have time decay or IV crush issues like options(OB). On the flip side, losses can be bigger if theres a big move against your position as there is no “max loss” concept like there is in OB. As a beginner, it is best to limit yourself to 1:1 leverage. I mostly limit myself to 1:3 leverage with futures.

Is Nifty Future better or Nifty Option better? what would be your suggestions? As i do not carry over any FnO instrument for next day. Looking for intraday only.

The people who say that would be in a better position to explain their statement.

FWIW, I think Futures are better for directional plays, especially a no-brainer for intraday as there won’t be any overnight risk. :dizzy:
Al Brooks, the author and futures trader says he only buys options when volatility and hence slippage is very high and he’s uncertain where his futures order might get filled or if there’s a risk of his stop being jumped.
