I wanted to sell sunpharma today at 526.5. I executed the order to sell at 526.5 through bracket order by clicking on limit price when the stock price was at 529.50. But the order got placed at average price 529.05. Why this is happening.

If you want to sell a stock below cmp , then you have to select SL ( trigger order) and not limit . In your case if you want to sell sun pharma at 526.5 using BO , then select SL , then you should have mentioned in price column as 526.50 and trigger as 526.60. By doing so , order will be executed when price comes below 526.60 .Your trades would be completed between 526.50 and 526.60. I you want exact 526.50 , then enter same price in both columns ( price and trigger ).
