Just found out a new youtube channel assoicated with zerodha, named “In the money by Zerodha”. I have subscribed to around 4-5 different youtube channels on which zerodha uploads informational content.
@nithin i want to ask why there are so many channels? In my opinion this just creates confusion. Or you should have a page on your official website and here(tradingqna.com) on which the information will be available about all blogspot pages and youtube channels related to zerodha and there should be info about them that how they are different than the other.
Yes, I thought the same. Zerodha should share updates about new channels on TradingQnA.
Or better, they can create different playlists on one YouTube channel instead of multiple channels. That would be easier to follow.
Hi @Passionate_trader @Champion_Trader @neha1101
Content in each channel addresses different audience.
We’ve recently launched “In the Money” by Zerodha where the content is exclusively trader centric. As @Champion_Trader rightly pointed out, we will soon share the updates on TradingQnA
“Markets by Zerodha” covers all the interesting and important newsflow and developing stories across sectors, themes including global.
Zerodha’s official channel and Varsity are the OG channels primarily addressed to share product related and educational initiatives respectively.
That said, going forward most of the new initiatives will mostly be part of these 4 channels.
@Meher_Smaran One thing I’d like to suggest is that Zerodha is creating top-quality content on YouTube, far better than others in every way. However, due to limited communication and marketing, it doesn’t reach a large audience. Even as a regular subscriber of Zerodha’s main channel, I wasn’t aware of the other channels for a long time, and the same was true for many of my friends.
It’s great that Zerodha doesn’t advertise its products or try to acquire customers forcefully, but I believe promoting such high-quality educational content is completely justified. It can help more people access the right and unbiased information, which is quite rare these days.
Each channel is different in terms of the topic and it’s not easy to put everything under one channel. Then there’s the mfact that even if you publish all the videos in one channel, we publish multiple videos in a given week and it quickly becomes spammy and the channel will lose it’s viewership.
Discovery is an issue and I agree, we’ll see if we can do something but sometime or the other, we’ll pop up on your feeds ![]()
We do. We share everything here.
You can add links to other channels in the main Zerodha channel’s description.
I believe Email is the fastest and easiest way to let all Zerodha users be aware of its initiatives, be it Newsletters/YouTube channels/Podcasts.
The sign-ups will increase for sure, but for that to happen, everyone needs to be aware of it.
Not many might access Twitter/Substack/TQNA to know about these initiatives, but everyone will check their mail.
Suggestion:
Please send an Email to all Zerodha customers explaining everything Zerodha has undertaken to spread knowledge.
In the Email, provide the links to all Youtube channels/Newsletters with a brief summary of what kind of content they feature.
You don’t need to feel like you are spamming for letting people know what you guys are doing, especially when it’s free and done with good intentions.
PS:
Do try to post all your Z-Connect blogs here on TQNA, be it Subtext/Varsity etc, it will certainly spark a lot of conversation.
I’m the worst at compartmentalising things, so I’m the perfect person to comment here: Zerodha makes its users download 2 different apps to manage investments. Worrying about multiple yt channels will not even be a consideration point yet.
Haha, just teasing! I love Coin.
