If I pause & delete an existing SIP in Coin app, and after a while when I do a lumpsump investment or restart the SIP in same Fund, will Coin reuse the existing Folio number or create a new Folio number for the new investment?
unless you withdrew the money from the fund it’s the same whether fresh investments are done or not.

I think AMC’s map the PAN with the folio. So logically it makes sense if you start new SIP you might get same old SIP. assuming the PAN & AMC is same
Not necessarily. I had SIP with a MF from ICICI Prudential directly, and then I did an SIP into the same MF from Coin, but both have a different Folio number.
Likely in this case, what i could think of is the method. Direct vs demat. most of the AMC doesnt even display the MF’s purchased through demat on their AMC website portal
@rahulmsinghvi The same folio number will be used when you restart an SIP or make a lump sum investment in the same fund.
