Will my IPO allotment fail if my name in the demat account doesn’t exactly match my name in the bank account?

The registrar of the company checks if the same PAN is mapped in both the demat account and the bank account. Due to slight variations in the name, your IPO allotment should not fail. If you have still seen your IPO allotment get rejected and are unsure of the reason, you should reach out to the registrar who has performed allotment in the IPO for confirmation.
