With new SEBI rules, is trading F&O viable?

With all the changes brought in and that are to be brought in, is it the death of retail traders?

Just trying to understand different perspectives of traders out there. What are your plans and thoughts about what the future holds?

Not looking for advice/suggestions as such.

Good volume on Bank Nifty and Fin Nifty monthlies which wasn’t there before especially for the latter, so I doubt there’s any difference. Peeps who want weeklies still have Nifty and Sensex.

Weeklies have the highest CVar according to Tasty’s research, so them going away, at least temporarily, may actually not be that bad for traders looking to profit and not gamble.

The volumes were too skewed towards weeklies and those looking to make a quick buck and unknowingly taking on way too much risk in the process. :smiling_face_with_tear:

Instead of weeklies, there should now be 0dte options for stocks and indices.

Not to be , too much pessimistic, Every one including Retailers continue to trade in future , one need to have more capital and as the time goes people will adjust to the new system

Retail trader who specially deal on theta decay, they are completely thrown out of market.

Following is url of rti

If u have any points to add to this rti, u can do same, as court proceedings is very lengthy better we go for rti.
