If user placed any buy order and even cancelled it completely then instant withdrawal isn’t allowed

While I don’t know what’s the problem at zerodha

But all others brokers (Dhan , Groww etc )doesn’t do this and fairly allows instant withdrawal even though buy order placed and even partially funds used from fund

Its must be simple and fair - if my balance is available freely then withdrawal should be fairly allowed be it instant or normal

I know normal withdrawal is still allowed but what’s the issue for instant ?!,
fund is already cleared by ICCL for my account.

Groww is even better, they allows instant withdrawal (without such rules like zerodha) + normal withdrawal too ;

while zerodha only allows anyone per day (with so many conditions to be fulfilled else request fails/cancelled)!

Please let go some floating intrest income and make system fair and transparent to your loyal customers :pray:t2:
Is this too much to be fulfilled?

Normal withdrawal request placed before 5 PM should be credited by max 10 PM same day at night

Currently it credits next day morning 6 AM

All small and big brokers I used credits the withdrawal amount same day by 7-8 PM if request placed before 5 PM

  1. Instant withdrawal
    Right now, it may not work if you’ve placed or cancelled orders due to system checks. This is already being worked on, and it should soon allow withdrawals even after order activity if funds are free.

  2. Withdrawal timeline
    • Cutoff: 10 PM (non-commodity), 11:59 PM (commodity)
    • Funds are usually credited next morning

If there are no trades or open positions and you request before 5 PM, you may still get the funds on the same day.

No , I just 2 days back
Placed request at 3 PM (well before 5 PM cut off) still received my fund after 15 hours on next day morning

Every good broker in industry credits fund max by 10 PM for request placed before 5 PM same day.

So please make processing faster for “regular withdrawals” too

Dhan is fastest as I observed , for regular withdrawals of any amount they credit in 2-3 hours

So you can just set system for “batch wise withdrawal” instead 1 time of 10 PM

Like ,All request placed before 5 PM should be processed by 6 PM regardless of comodity segment is enabled (no reason to late withdrawal just for comodity segment is active , no other brokers have such rules despite of enabled all segments)
And bank takes 2-3 hours max to credit to user accounts.

Noted, this will be improved soon and should work more smoothly.

  1. Regular withdrawal delay

In your case, delay happened because your commodity segment must be active, so processing happens later as commodities markets are still open.

That said, we understand your expectation for faster same-day credit and we’re working on improving this.

Ok but as I placed request before 5 PM that means , I needed the fund and don’t want to trade in comodity or anywhere else (if anyone wants to trade till 11:59 PM , then he obviously will not place withdrawal before 5 PM)
so it should be processed automatically in system before 5 PM so I get it by 10 PM same day.

As you noted it so I’m hopeful it will get resolved very soon👍🏻

Got it, that makes sense. We’ve noted this and shared it with the team they’re already working on improving it, so it should get better soon. :blush:
