Are CDSL Easiest accounts and Zerodha Kite accounts interconnected?
What I mean is — when I update my email ID, phone number, or bank account details in Zerodha, and then try to log in to my CDSL Easiest account, where will the OTP be sent — to the old contact details or the new ones?
If they are connected, is the update instant? For example, if I update my contact information in Zerodha, and they process the request in 5 hours, then, if I try to log in to Easiest, where will the OTP be sent?
Also, the CDSL TPIN OTP — is it sent to the old number or the new one after such an update?
I have heard CDSL easiest accounts are updated on monthly basis on realtime basis is it true?
CDSL Easiest accounts and Zerodha Kite accounts are not directly interconnected, but they are linked through your demat account.
Once you update your mobile number or email, brokers like Zerodha take up to 24 working hours to process it. After that, OTPs will be sent to your new contact details.

As mentioned earlier, before updating the details from the broker’s end you will receive on older phone /email after the update newer phone/email
