Yesterday, Today Kite app was lagging my self had issue placed an order at 9.15 am today didn’t go then canceled then again placed, order executed lately due to which I needed to square off the position & suffer a loss.
Today website was also lagging a lot. Many users reported on social network sites. Even on budget day there was a lag.
Do zerodha don’t care of their users? Even now & then after few months their app gets lagging. In Nov’25 also their app was lagging
Seems now every 3~4M app having issues.
Zerodha do keep updates on their app & websites, but they forget that it shud also check that Kite app shud work properly on Android 12 version whatever the phone models user is having.

I past year myself had many issues had raised ticket but in response I got that ur laptop & phone r on older version OS so u will face issue.
If these such things r there then every 1 ~ 2 year user needs to purchase a new computer & phone to keep updated for what to keep active - for zerodha services. These depends on users preferance & other things
Many other brokers just for e.g. Their websites or app works on any model depending on the devices, user is holding
having a glitch once or twice a year is not unusual and in my experience 0dha performs better than most other brokers. no software is perfect and issues can also come from 3rd APIs or some external tools that kite has to interface with. but I totally understand where you’re coming from. the impact feels much bigger because these rare glitches often happen during important market periods and thats definitely frustrating. but in large realtime systems this is unfortunately a reality we see across the (software) industry.
market depth refresh issue is also one of the things to be addressed. many members including me have repeatedly raised this issue. At 9.52pm, my order is executed, no change in market depth till 9.58pm. 6 minutes everything freeze not even LTP and same happens with equity F&O. So that needs to be solved
It is one thing to accept glitches on a free software like say google maps or Gmail and another thing to accept a glitch on an app which is costing you lakhs of rupees every year in brokerage . It was clear as daylight from gift nifty that this was coming and with all the superior technology stack which we keep hearing about , it wasn’t addressed . Already the position were in deep red and you couldn’t even capitalise on the opportunities.
They blame on your internet, even though the issue was from their end. That’s how incompetent, their team is. They either lack knowledge don’t know how to find out problems or they’re just fooling their clients.
Don’t think the data is correct. Everyone has clearly faced many issues regularly and have posted the same on this forum. You can refer to all the 2025 posts here if interested.
Wow, at Z’s scale that is very impressive.
I just wish brokers (in general) would be more transparent and provide a status page like most tech companies.
If anyone come across another brokerage app with better reliability, please let me know. I’m eagerly look forward to balancing my trading btwn 2 brokers so that any issue with one broker can be handled more gracefully.
I personally lost a once in years profit trade because of zerodha. I want to now ensure I have right platform to work on.
