Terminal only opens chart of a stock IF a chart widget is open. Else it shows an error (SS attached)
Kindly make changes so that chart opens even if other widgets are open. So that the terminal will auto-switch to chart widget and open the chart
In the below SS, I have a chart widget already open. Ideally it should switch to that and use that as a common chart widget for all stocks.
This behavior is similar to what Zerodha-Web platform already does.
If there are multiple chart widgets on the workspace, the system would not know which one to open. that’s why its required to select the chart widget to open the chart.
When i click on “Create GTT”, the Search box is not auto-selected.
So I have to additionally click the search box before I type the stk name for GTT.
Can you make it such that the search box is auto selected so that I can just start typing the stk name?
Clicking on Chart icon beside stock name in holdings widget does not work. Says “select a chart widget”. However, I’m in the Holdings widget. I can’t select a chart widget while the holdings widget is open?
In attached SS, I had created a GTT for buying a stk. At time of creation, the price of the stk was above the traded price.
Today, the stk gapped down and the price of the stk is BELOW the trigger price of the GTT.
Yet, the GTT did not trigger.
And yes, I have more than adequate free cash.
Its 9:19am, and the stk is trading, and yet the GTT hasn’t triggered.
Ideally, when the LTP is below the trigger price, the GTT buy should be triggered.
And vice-versa for GTT sell orders.
Kindly consider this on priority.
For GTT, this is critical to work.
Note at 3:35 PM- Another GTT buy whose price went below my trigger price during live market correctly triggered the order.
Usecase - I had a hindcopper buy order at 547.4, low today was 547.6
After seeing that, I thought I’ll just buy at 553.
But GTT won’t execute LMT order at CMP.
So I have to cancel this GTT & then place a separate normal order for buying at CMP
It looks like Zerodha’s GTT & normal order system are two separate systems which don’t at all talk to each other.
Feedback → I think its best if both are somehow connected.
So that a GTT can convert to a normal LMT order, and a normal order can convert into a GTT (which was my previous feedback)
