it was only launched about 10 weeks ago ahead of the real estate scion being sworn in for a second time.
Obviously, there are far bigger concerns afoot than the president’s shitcoin tanking — but you have to admit that it’s pretty hilarious that it’s happening this way.

That’s understatement. They are 1st largest importer of crude oil. We are 2nd. All those import of crude oil are in US dollars.
With losing exports to US, they have trade balance problems. That’s what US Is targetting I believe. Also China’s main problem is not outside but within themselves. You have masses of population that might remain unemployed. China is more afraid of this than everything else.
Trump’s been linked to so many pump and dump schemes over the years. not sure if he ever got found guilty, but i remember that netflix doc had some stuff on it. He always lends his name or face on these random companies and manipulate market. Trump hotels & casino resorts, annual reports were fake reporting. Trump institute was all Multiple level marketing type.

Yeah, they import majority of it from Russia (where they don’t need to deal in USD) followed by the Arab countries. US probably makes a lesser percentage of China’s crude imports
BTW, it is the US that will loose more, if China stops buying from it.
Like i mentioned earlier, they may not be loosing much. They will find indirect ways to export the same to USA or just find new buyers.
America has made an enemy out of everyone, irrespective of the tariff pause, I’m sure any leader with a rational mind, would find ways to reduce their dependence on USA from now on.
If country like USA can survive with having a lunatic as a president, I’m sure China will survive this with a better leader.
