Makes more sense than headlines these days
SENSEX 2.3 lakh by ratio.
Yeah. So 2.3 times in 10 years. Not that huge in cagr terms.
Around 12 yeah not huge
NIFTY deflated using CPI for all items: NIFTY/INDCPIALLMINMEI gives a CAGR of around 4.3% over 20 years.
And which asset class in India gives better return? Gold? Silver?
Also, I have been saying nifty will give returns because of interest rates and inflation.
We have to see it in nominal terms.
Otherwise fine. Let’s assume FD gives 0 percent real return and nifty gives 4. That’s fine too.
Didn’t Gold outperformed nifty in 20 year CAGR?
Has it ? I am not sure. Until last year it hadn’t. Now may be because of last one year performance it has.

Failed to cross this trendline again after crossing it intraday.
I can’t find Nifty 50 TRI in tradingview, but NIFTY/SILVER/USDINR gives simple return of -60% over 20 years assuming my calculations are correct
How exactly though? If history were to repeat itself in the next 20 years, Gold and silver would outperform against Nifty again.
USDINR first daily close above 95!
Not sure but I think gold overtook nifty in the last 2 years. Nifty didn’t perform and gold doubled.
I am just guessing. Law of averages will catch up and I believe nifty will outperform gold in the next year years.
