I would be interested if it carries a purpose.

Probably it would be a good idea to articulate the broad objectives of this association like

  • it will fight for retail traders rights in a trade union style or
  • be a place for retail traders hang out and socialise (online) or
  • be a self help group for retail traders
    etc.

This could attract more traders to join in
