One thing i like about ChartIQ charts in Zerodha is no matter how much lines we draw on a particular chart, it will be there on all the time-frames, even when we open it after months…
@nithin, @siva-reddy If you can establish trading from charts on IQ charts (i know that may be difficult for you), that would be incredibly unique.
On our list of things to do. Will come for sure but may take time.
Better bring trading view order management to kite. Drag and drop to move stop loss. Take profits. Etc.
You can take some ideas from Ctrader platform. They do the best.
this is the feature i am waiting for… from so long… dont know… why this is missing.
in multiple charts we have to first add stock to watchlist, only after that we can open it in multiple charts(2,4 charts).
it will be much easier if we can directly open any stock in multiple charts.
Yes, that is how on chartiq and can’t change it, but you can check multiple charts of Trading view.

I’m extremely excited for new version of ChartIQ.
Had asked @siva-reddy and he said “Next week”.
Not understanding why it is taking them so long.
It is not something they are building up from the scratch.
They have already completed the development part and before launching it ( about 17 days ago) they have definitely tested it internally extensively.
@nithin Any words on the delay ? Are you trying to add more features such as showing profit and loss right on the chart itself ?
Should take a week more.
If it is ready you think we won’t release it? we are more excited to release it, still few things need to be sorted.
I hope next week will be the final next week, and there won’t be any bugs ( like last time).
Is there any dedicated thread or forum that I can follow to know about the upcoming features you are working on? Like margin calculation on the order window and trading from chart are two such features.
Not asking for internal work flow but the upcoming features for kite.
