I may have raised this multiple times, but its really impossible for retail investors to see bond details when they are offered under the bids section
Eg: 7.23% GS 2039 There is no way to understand when this was first issued so what will be the interest payout dates.
Same with NSE website: https://www.nseindia.com/get-quotes/bonds?symbol=746GS2073 all details are hyphend out…

Can i please request the Product Owners of the Kite app to include a feature which will shows details of these bonds that are offered in the bids sections and in console when they are bought.

BTW in mean time anyone has this info on how to get details of this specific bond please share…

It is trivial for GSECs.

Bi-annual payment of interest once every 6 months.

a. each year, once on the date (day,month) of maturity.
b. each year, 6months after a above.

RBI publishes/updates the list of Government of India Securities outstanding as on date.

I am assuming you are specifically interested in getting details of govt bonds being offered under the bids section.
As @cvs mentioned in previous response, getting date of interest is easy.
Getting other details require slight work, but can be done in various way.

One of the easiest way is to look at RBI / GOI press release. This govt bonds are auctioned by RBI and before the auction opens, they come up with a press release describing what they are selling (generally title of press release is Auction of Government of India Dated Securities)

For 7.23% GS 2039 this is the press release

While it has some details, it also has link for GOI notification for the issue, which has most of the details

But i still want to emphasise on my request to include this logic and get some, if not all these details on the UI card for bids tab… (Pro traders and experienced investor know how to get these but newbees like me will always struggle.)

At any given point of time,
the complete list of outstanding GSECs is available at…

…sorted by date of maturity.

Of the 120 outstanding ones right now,
these 12 are the ones with the longest tenure (~35-50years)

By “long tenure”, would you be interested in these, or some other shorter range of tenure ?

just go to copilot AI , type the Bond symbol you can get everydetails

Thank You , i am looking for the GSEcs maturing after 2040 with higher coupon rate , For example @sandeep_cs shared 734GS2064 trading @97 at the same time 74GS2062-GS is trading at 98 , i will be interested in , like the one 74GS2063 , if you know such Gsecs please share
