Discontinuation of pooling for mutual funds and how it affects Coin

Checking this, Karthik. You’ll gave an update on the ticket.

Some lady from zerodha called me and had the audacity to ask me to raise a new mandate request. She also claimed that mandate is working fine for most folks.

So, what wrong did I do to go through this - mandate not working and zerodha ppl claiming it is working well for most others? Is the client at mistake here? Only mistake I can think of is that I have been with zerodha for 6 years and it is time for me to look elsewhere

@Bhuvan I got a response on the ticket mentioning SIP order won’t go through due to AN ISSUE. Now since this was AMC SIP order for the fund which doesn’t allow lump sum order, who is responsible for the missed opportunity here?

Sir, got an update that issue is escalated, but no resolution yet and no sight on when the funds will be refunded, been over 12 days since order failure. Can you please help. Thanks

Hi @Bhuvan - If we setup SIP using using mandates - and there is a transaction failure - will there be alert via email for failed SIP?

What will happen to the active mandates when I change the primary bank account to another one?
Will they automatically change to the new primary bank account or become invalid?

order executed via SIP and amount debited from bank via mandate, still order is not processed.
zerodha keeps coming up with new issues for harassing customers.

Yes, we do.

The mandate will be active on the account it was created.

Same issue here. Amount debited through eMandate on 21st but the order is still in “Sent to AMC”. Support responses are of no help. Ticket # 20221224231569

Ya it seems there is some issue. Mandate is approved but payment failed for my sip (though no deduction from bank and getting stuck)

I received a confirmation from the mutual fund on Saturday with Friday’s NAV. Generally, I receive Thursday’s NAV but this time it’s Friday’s even though Amount is debited on Wed.

My primary account is non salaried account whereas my secondary account is my salary account. It makes sense if I am able to set up mandate out of my secondary account as well. I always hate this limitation of secondary account in coin since this dedicated MF balance concept came into picture.

For now, you can create a standing instruction to transfer money automatically from your salary account to your primary account. It’s quite simple. But allowing mandates on secondary accounts is on our to-do.

MF SIP order was placed on 26th Dec at 7:10 .
However the units have been allotted with a value date of 27th Dec. Zerodha support case raised : #20221228577359

Does this mean this method/hack can be used to make secondary accounts work with mandates?

I switched the primary bank account. Now I’m hitting “You already have maximum active mandates.” error while trying to create a new mandate using my new primary bank account. I had created 9 mandates using the old primary bank account and would like them deleted so that I can create new ones using new primary bank account.

Can you help? Ticket #20221222878762
